LED T8/T5 Type A Lamp Prorated Warranty Guidelines:

If the LED T8 or T5 lamp Fails Within:

Year 1 – 90% Replacement value of a new T8/T5 Lamp

Year 2 – 70% Replacement value of a new T8/T5 Lamp

Year 3 – 50% Replacement value of a new T8/T5 Lamp

Year 4 – 30% Replacement value of a new T8/T5 Lamp

Year 5 – 20% Replacement value of a new T8/T5 Lamp


Reno LED Lighting Inc guarantees that the product shall be free of defects and in good working order as stated in the warranty period listed above, commencing from original purchase date.

 Limited Warranty

Reno LED Lighting Inc will provide a Limited Warranty guarantee. This encompasses a complete repair of the components, or an equivalent replacement of the LED product within the warranty period, only if the following conditions are met:

  • Reno LED Lighting Inc Fixtures covered by this Limited Warranty shall be installed with a licensed electrician in accordance with the provided installation instructions as well as local and national codes and standards and utilized under normal operating conditions.
  • The LED product was installed in a facility, building, or exterior application where the fixture or lamp is operating less than 12hrs a day. If the fixture or lamp are operating for more than 12hrs a day then the warranty period will be reduced to the following rates:


10 Year Warranty will be reduced to 7 Year Warranty

7 Year Warranty will be reduced to 5 Year Warranty

For all MR16, GU10, Par Lamps, A Lamps, PL lamps- The warranty agreement will be reduced to 3 years or 25,000 hrs

LED Filament Lamps- The warranty agreement will be reduced to 3 years or 15,000 hrs


  • The LED product was installed in an environment not exceeding the regular operating temperature range it was designed for.

          i.e.: An application in extreme environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, water exposure).


In addition, dependant upon fixture type guidelines pertaining to an open or enclosed fixture approval:

  • For LED T8/T5 Type A (Direct Fit) lamps: To maintain warranty guidelines, ensure that all lamps are installed using a ballast listed on our ballast compatibility list. Using a ballast outside of the provided list will nullify all warranty.
  • LED T5 Type A lamps are not approved for completely enclosed or any vapor tight fixtures due to poor air circulation. Any lamps installed in this manner will nullify all warranty.
  • The painted finish of RENO LED Lighting Inc Products will be considered defective in material or workmanship only if there is substantial deterioration, in the form of metal separating, cracking, or peeling. The painted finish is not warrantied against fading due to exposed sunlight or harsh weather conditions as products may naturally fade over time due to normal ageing.


Reno Labour Warranty:

  • Reno LED Lighting Inc at their discretion Will consider any labour warranty instances on a case to case basis. Please contact your sales rep at Reno LED for further information.
