IMPROVED LIGHT LEVELS WAS THE NUMBER ONE CONCERN TO INCREASE THE TEAM'S PRODUCTIVITY AND SAFETY.

Kubota Canada’s office and warehouses located in Markham Ontario wanted to become more energy-efficient and increase their lighting levels at the same time. In their warehouse, they required better light levels to make it easier for the staff to scan, pick and ship the products. On the exterior, better lighting on the loading docks was paramount for a safer, more efficient shipping area.

The existing 400W metal halide and 6 Lamp T8 Fluorescent High Bays were replaced with 3000 units of  15W LED T8 lamps throughout and attached occupancy sensors to the high bays for added energy savings.  The Foot Candle increase was in excess of 25% while reducing consumption by over 50%. The old high pressure sodium fixtures in the dock area were replaced with 120W LED Wall Packs and 150W LED Flood Lights. This upgrade boasted an increase of 39% in the lighting levels as compared to the old high pressure sodium fixtures.

LED AREA LIGHTS

Existing high pressure sodium lights were replaced with 150W LED area lights.

LED 15W T8 LINEAR LAMPS

Existing 400W metal halide and 6-lamp T8 fluorescent highbays were replaced with LED 15W Type B linear lamps.

LED WALL PACKS

Existing high pressure sodium wall packs were replaced with 120W LED wall packs.
