ABOUT THE COMPANY

Canlight Group is an integrated real estate services company with extensive experience in acquiring, developing, constructing and managing both residential and commercial properties since 1991.

The property had two challenges: the parking garage and the exterior perimeter. The parking garage located in Richmond Hill, Ontario presented many challenges as the current lighting system in place was not providing adequate light levels, while the exterior was a combination of Metal Halide Canopies and Post Top Fixtures, as well as High-Pressure Sodium Wall Packs.

THERE WERE CHALLENGES ON THE PROPERTY REGARDING INADEQUATE LIGHT LEVELS; BOTH INDOORS AND OUT.

LED POST TOP

Existing 250W metal halide Post Tops replaced with 80W LED Post Top fixtures.

LED CANOPY FIXTURE

Existing 175W metal halide canopies replaced with 48W LED canopy fixtures.

LED CUT OFF WALL PACK

Existing 70W high pressure sodium wall packs replaced with 25W LED cut off wall packs.

LED LINEAR STRIP

Existing fluorescent 2-lamp 32W T8 and 2-lamp 40W T12 replaced with LED 4ft linear strips.

For the indoor solution, It was Canlight selected RENO's 4ft 34W Linear Strip. These LED Linear Strips helps close the lighting gaps on the ground that was apparent with the old fluorescent fixtures in place. Over half of the fixtures were fitted with an occupancy sensor in low-traffic areas to help increase the energy savings. Canlight saw an average increase of 60% in lighting levels across the entire garage while consumption was cut by over 50%. 

On the outside, the 175W canopies were replaced using RENO's 48W LED Canopy providing even light distribution to the walkway.  The 250W Post Tops were replaced with a new 80W LED Post Top that gave a fresh look to the property. As for the 70W High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) Wall Packs, they were replaced with a 25W LED Cut-off Style for a more modern look.
