NOT HAVING TO MAINTAIN ELECTRONIC BALLASTS THAT REQUIRE AN ELECTRICIAN EVERY TIME THEY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IS A KEY DECIDING FACTOR.
The operators were looking for ways to increase their lighting levels, reduce electrical consumption and overall maintenance costs through a lighting retrofit. Consisting of over 5000 fluorescent T8/T12 lamps, not having to maintain electronic ballasts that require an electrician every time they needed to be replaced was a big deciding factor for the building.

THE SOLUTION
Utilizing the existing fixtures in place, RENO's 15W LED T8 Self Ballasted lamp was chosen for its ease of installation while being backed by a 7-year warranty. Not having to maintain electronic ballasts that require an electrician every time they needed to be replaced was a big deciding factor for the building.
The lighting levels throughout CAMH increased by over 40% while reducing the electrical consumption by 55%.
T8 TYPE B LINEAR LAMPS
T8/T12 fluorescent lamps were replaced by 15W Type B T8 tubes.
